St Agnes Place is a truly unique residential location, bounded on both sides by one of London’s most historic parks, Kennington Park. If that’s not quite enough green space for you, there’s 56 hectares more at nearby Burgess Park, which has a wide range of outdoor sport facilities. Kennington Lane offers a wealth of restaurants and brightly painted shops.

London’s historic markets have had resurgence in recent years, and at St Agnes Place, two of the best are within walking distance.

Colourful stalls dot Lower Marsh every day, joined by artisan producers on Saturdays, while Borough Market is perhaps the finest food market in the capital. That iconic cricket ground, the Kia Oval, is just a stroll away, and you can grab a slice of London’s cultural life without even crossing the river.

Books on the South Bank

Situated on the South Bank, you can find the National Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe, the IMAX, the Hayward Gallery, the Royal Festival Hall and Tate Modern – all within 20 minutes of your door at St Agnes Place. The restaurants of the area are world class and include Southwark’s gastropubs and riverside bistros, with very fine dining at the Oxo Tower. Alternatively, head to The Cut in Waterloo to find the famous Old Vic and Young Vic theatres, and a further swathe of bars and restaurants.
